The book features a collection of photographs by photographer Akio Tomari who also captures images of UMITOTA.

Featuring photographs taken over the course of a year, the book reflects the transitions of the seasons, various artworks, the daily lives of the local people that Tomari observed on the island, and the very atmosphere he encountered and experienced there on his day-to-day.

It may also serve as guidebook for your trip to the island.
